True, it seems that the Chinese are ripe for some activism on this issue.

Kind of looks like the L.A. of my youth.

I heard some pretty bright talking head (a guest on Fareed Zakaria's show, I think) refer to the fight against global warming as being a rich nation's fight. As long as a country's economies is suffering (including our own and Europe's), they'll have little interest in spending gobs of money on this issue when they have more pressing matters at hand. Developing nations have no interest whatsoever.

Is not desertification inextricably linked to rising temps? I agree that poor soil use practices area big factor too, fwiw but no water = desert no matter how good your soil use practices are.

Why? On what do you base that analysis? Do you reject the scientific evidence? Do you conclude that the voters will be uninformed or apathetic?

And what the Hell is "herring pandering?"

D-Ray

Fox News said so.

Opinions and Analysis are entirely deferent.

I reject a lot of the evidence or so called evidence scientist present on this matter.

I don't think the voters will give a shit at least nothing significant to matter. Thats why I made the above comment.
