The worst has passed.....
My Sister, Wendy had her fifth heart surgery on Friday. All went well, the tumor has been removed, and today she spoke with us for a few moments.
Twenty years ago my Father asked me to stay here and look after her. So, that's what I intend to do. I have been commuting back and forth to Richmond, two hours each way since tuesday. Thursday, I got a room stayed overnight and was at the VA Hospital at 5 a.m. and got home here in Chesapeake at 11:00p.m., got up and went back at 9a.m. today. I am one tired puppy. She told me it was okay if I stayed home and rested tomorrow. I think that's what I'll do. (I have an H/K Citation Seventeen just back from DeWick Repairs, totally rebuilt. I'll be playing with that.) Thanks, for all of your well wishes/prayers!!!! Dave
