Found elsewhere on the web.
There once was a clown named Don
Who excelled at the grift and the con
He lost an election and hated rejection
So he screamed about ballot inspection
As lost suits became the norm
He shook in rage at the storm
He screamed "I'll sue"
He whined 'til blue
But only showed he had no clue
DA's probe the many crimes
Threats of jail and hard times
Some now screech "big witch hunt"
Of rants and shouts and biased stunts
Injustice and fraud whined the child
Begged for money as court cases piled
The grift drags on and the MAGA's still think they are not pawns

Donald Trump Was ‘An Insurrectionist,’ Extremism Expert Confirms in Colorado Ballot Case Testimony

No doubt. There’s really no valid counter argument to this fact.

Nicole Wallace and her interview group pointed out just what a dolt Eric Trump is, from his testimony yesterday.
When questioned about the inflated/deflated property valuations in the Trump Organization financial records, Eric the Dolt replied as follows...
1. I didn't even know there were were financial records. Followed by...
2. I didn't understand the financial records which were in the hands of experts that worked for the Trump Organization. Followed by...
3. The financial records under reported most of the company holdings.
So, Eric testified under oath that he didn't know that financial records existed, but that he didn't understand the records that he didn't know existed, and that most of the information in the financial records that he didn't know existed, under-reported the values of the properties listed in the records that he didn't know existed.
Thank you Eric. I believe that one can be criminally tried for perjury that was committed in a civil trial. Go get this schmuck, Letitia.

Colorado judge finds Trump engaged in 'insurrection' but allows him on ballot
https://www.reuters.com/legal/colora...on-2023-11-18/
So he's an insurrectionist, but can still run for president. SAD!

I've read that this sets up well for an appeal that would render Trump ineligible. The judge has made a finding of fact regarding Trump's involvement in an insurrection. The only remaining question is whether her interpretation of the Constitution that Trump isn't an officer of the US is valid and I think she chose to punt this aspect of her decision to the appeals courts.

I don't believe she is afraid to make a logical decision, more like not wanting to step into uncharted waters, especially with a Trumpian SCOTUS. She is also leaning on the fact that the President is not not explicitly stated in this amendment, perhaps the founders did not anticipate a rogue president.
Quote:
The 14th Amendment, ratified after the Civil War, says American officials who take an oath to support the Constitution are banned from future office if they “engaged in insurrection.” But the Constitution doesn’t say how to enforce the ban, and it has only been applied twice since 1919 – which is why many experts view these lawsuits as long shots.
The provision explicitly bans insurrectionists from serving as US senators, representatives, and even presidential electors – but it does not say anything about presidents. It says it covers “any office, civil or military, under the United States,” and Wallace ruled that this does not include the office of the presidency.
“After considering the arguments on both sides, the Court is persuaded that ‘officers of the United States,’ did not include the President of the United States,” she wrote. “It appears to the Court that for whatever reason the drafters of Section Three did not intend to include a person who had only taken the Presidential Oath.”
|
So in the end, let the SCOTUS decide is how I see her ruling. YMMV

The Naranja Nazi takes the stand.
Donald Trump took the stand Monday in his civil fraud trial in New York.
Quote:
Asked to answer 'yes' or 'no,' Trump – never a man of few words – colored way outside the lines.
"Control your client," the judge told Trump's lawyer just a half-hour in.

If you don't answer questions you can't be charged with perjury eh' Donny?

Conservative legal scholar calls for impeachment of Judge Cannon: 'Member of the Trump defense team'

Nice to see a Koch-funded scholar with the good sense to call out what’s going on with Donny’s corrupt judge.
