I think people are forgetting that most Americans realize that it takes a while for a government program to hit its stride. I think Obamacare is a slow train coming.
Its a train that has little chance of leaving the station without the boiler exploding.

It sounds to me like you are bitterly clinging to a thread of hope for the survival of your political heroes.

You're right - rhetorical overkill.

My point is that your political outlook is so invested in the failure of the ACA that you cannot allow yourself to see it as anything other than an utter failure.
Personally, I have already seen benefits from it for my family; and there are others here who have received refunds as a result of the requirement that a minimum amount of the premiums must go to providing healthcare.

You can continue to dream for a failure, but I fully expect to see your dreams dashed.

Regards,

D-Ray

I already know the ACA will cost me more but honest enough to know it is more then fair. Now having pay taxes on the benefits received, good ones grant you. Just would like for it to a shared equal sacrifice by all.

I dislike it, but should not be any different then anyone else. After all fringe benefits is pay. Thankful I did have good insurance partially funded by an employer up to now.

It is only a matter of time before the Republicans welcome back the red-headed step child of the Heritage Foundation and Mitt Romney into the fold. They will take credit for the whole thing. Just you wait.

The gains that you've seen personally could have been arrived at without the legislative and regulatory overkill, coupled with wholesale repricing and funding of health insurance, that is Obamacare. And my comments about my concerns that the impact that this regulatory circus will have are not due to my "investment in failure" of the the law. It's simple observation, and genuine concern.

That will be the equivalent of waiting for ice cycles to form in Hell.

No emotional investment here....

IMHO, the vhemence of the opposition of the right to the ACA is out of all proportion to any substantial criticism of the programs, and represents instead their emotional opposition to 'the other side.' It's the active front in the ongoing culture war instigated by those who see their political success as requiring the production of 'angry white males.'
