To be fair, Dave did admit that he didn't check his sources. And then proceeded to state that it still sounded like something she would say.

Hence, "fake but accurate".

No need to circle the wagons, I'm not collecting any scalps. I only offered a simple assessment.

Ah shucks, I didn't say youse was after scalps. Now is 'fake but accurate' the part where it gets 'not cricket,' in your opinion? Maybe?

Seems like a cool way to say it to me, in the spirit of good clean satire....
