The big insight: Democrats and Republicans are fighting
two different battles. Democrats are fighting to win elections, mainly at the Federal level. The plan to win and get things done because they have majority support. The Republicans know they do not have majority support, so are fighting a wider, deeper, longer-term fiight to
subvert Democracy. They are fighting mainly at the state level, trying to lock in state legislatures one by one. They are winning. We have to engage on this battlefield.
