After another long week (ending around 11:00, Friday night), an evening with video concerts.

First was Van Morrison's 1980 performance at Montreaux.

Then, I found on Youtube a duet of Van and John Lee Hooker doing Gloria. I had told my wife about it and she wanted to hear it. That led to a couple more Van and John songs, before Bonnie Raitt and John Lee doing "Mood for Love."

The wonderful algorithms then took us to Bonnie and BB King doing "Night Life" and then Buddy Guy and John Mayer doing a few numbers, and then John Mayer with BB - and then - around 3:00 a.m., finally had to call it quits after watching BB and the gang at the Crossroads Guitar Festival.

Having Youtube available through the HT system in the bedroom can be enjoyable and addictive.

Looks good. I've always been a big fan of Mr. Five by Five, especially his work with Bill Basie.
