What a den of snakes Trump and his loyalists are.

David Duke doesn't come across as all that loyal.

LBJ, the Texan who banished the Dixiecrats and made the GOP America's racist party.

Isn't it more that the southern racists bolted from the Democratic Party after LBJ signed the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts? You make it seem as though the Dixiecrats were the legitimately aggrieved party during the Civil Rights era. Your argument may well find a few receptive ears among those in bed sheets in Charlottesville, but not with me.

Utter revisionist nonsense. The southern racists and the GOP willingly joined forces under Nixon's 'Southern Strategy' and then were further cemented to the GOP under Reagan.

Indeed. LBJ said upon signing the Civil Rights Act "We have lost the South for a generation." He didn't say "I'm banishing Southern members of my own party."

Still far too few of them. If they really had balls, they'd sponsor a Congressional resolution condemning and disavowing the racist elements in their own base.

I ain't holding my breath. Far too many times I've seen the GOP mealy mouth the words and then do nothing. Newtown comes to mind.
