Nope, though we saw quite a few roaming around in the Jordanian desert.

We've been in Jordan and on the West Bank and haven't felt the least bit threatened. However, we are feeling a bit frightened about coming back to the States. Is it safe? Can somebody arrange for an armed convoy to meet us at the airport?

Too funny and pretty correct in those areas that I'm familiar with.

We ran into a famous Arab sheik, Sheik Yer Booty, out in the Jordanian desert along with one of his favorite concubines. I thought you folks may enjoy a picture of his imminence.

We're going to rest up on the beach in Tel Aviv today before our long flight home tomorrow. I'll check back in then with a few new photos.

You'll be hearing from Mr. Zappa's estate about some copyright issues.

Looking at the scenery, I don't know how a rattlesnake could make a living out there.

The area we toured around in (and stayed in a Bedouin camp) has a reputation for having the best desert scenery in the world. Having now been there, it's very easy to believe.
