It's the homo-gendered couple on top of the cake that did them in, I suspect.

Solution: 'We put nobody on top of the cake. You do that part.'

Everybody happy?

If they will decorate any cake but a "gay" cake? No...not happy. They stop cake decorating services for everybody? Sure, fine...happy I guess. 'Cep't...they'd be decorating cakes if it weren't for the gays...and we all know it. So...marginally happy.

There it is, thanks Carl.

'Public accommodation' is an old battle already won in the civil rights war through the courts. I really see no difference between the Woolsworth's lunch counter sit ins in Greensboro, N.C. and this bakery refusing to bake/decorate a wedding cake for a LGBT couple.

Give the intolerant an inch and they'll run with it.

As far as "public accomodation" goes...we still have pharmacists who refuse to fill prescriptions for birth control meds. I don't get how any state department of professional regulation let's any licensed pharmacist get away with that shit.

The marketplace demonstrating how far mainstream America has come in accepting homosexuality, albeit some places slower than others.

My pard checked with the downtown Anniston eatery where we will be gathering Sunday for the formalities and they are OK with it.

This is the crux of the matter.

But, but, It's About [Religious] Freedom! My area has been littered with signs proclaiming that crap since the Hobby Lobby bullocks. Delusional.

Yup, that's why we got in as soon as the fuss died down before they could slam the door, temporary as it may be.
