Not at all. I've just seen the type. I'll bet there's much more we'll be finding out about this character very soon.

He should. The guy is hilarious. Have you ever watched him in action on the house floor? There are reasons why those dicks (Pun untended.) across the aisle despised him to begin with. Then, he had to go and hand them ammunition...........

Wiener is guilty of stupidity. Duh. You broadcast your private parts, and you are going to be exposed (pun intended). He is singularly guilty of being a politician who lied and engaged in hypocrisy.

It appears unlikely that such conduct has broken any laws. If the conversations/exchanges took place with individuals who were not members of his staff, his conduct would not amount to sexual harassment. (he he, he said member) (huh huh, he said staff) Moreover, there does not appear to be any evidence that he used patronage to cover up his uncovered appendage. We'll see what the investigation reveals (that hasn't already been revealed).

Regards,

D-Ray

No laws broken, but political suicide even within the confines of the democratic party. I can't see him surviving politically. I do not think the tweets were all that significant; however, his actions over the past week were reprehensible. He'll probably feel significant pressure from the democratic hierarchy to resign. Given his political position, one wonders what thought processes occurred that caused such behavior.

A bit more insightful than saying that he was guilty of stupidity. One might say that the id overpowered the superego.

The joys of the Internet and Twitter, it seems that any technological "invention" will somehow degrade into mundane stupidity.

Wieners' cooked.

He's shredded his credability. He's a walking punch line now. No ones fault but his.

Wanna bet there's more lurking under the surface?

Who cares? I don't care if he tweets his pecker to some internet sex partner. I wouldn't care if he had group sex with consenting adult transexuals in a limousine driving down Park Avenue. And I also don't care if some (or most ) republicans are closet homosexuals.

Can we (the nation, not this forum) PLEASE stop pretending that our politicians are any less sexually deviant than any other random, repressed American adult? Can we please stop wasting synapses, newsprint, and electrons on this BS and worry about things worth worrying about?

Well stated. +1.
Especially the part about turd pushers in the GOP.
They do seem to have a thing for burly square jawed men in uniform, come to think of it.
