They used to have limited tags for Grisly Inland for Elk. That's where I used to go for Ducks and Pheasant.

I remember seeing those white tailed lawn rats all over the place when I lived in semi rural Md. out Briggs Cheney Rd off Rt. 29. Never hit one with the car thank god.

My father-in-law had a Thompson/Center pistol in 45/70. Crazy looking thing...LOL!

It's pretty dangerous driving around here after dark from about October 25 until November 15. Friggin' deer everywhere.

To give you an idea of how many deer are around here, on a recent evening before our big 21" snowstorm we had 7 deer fighting over the birdseed spilling out of our birdfeeder in our front yard. The largest does were getting up on their haunches and boxing each other like kangaroos with their front hooves.

I guess you don't grow fruit trees or anything else for that matter.

Yeah I had a few Thompsons Centers. I liked being able to change out barrel/caliber or pistol riffle combinations.

Oh lord, I can imagine my SO out there bangin' on a pan with a cooking implement telling the deer to chill out and take turns. That must've been a sight Pat.
