Campaign rhetoric embarrassment to U.S.

Some of you travel outside the US, maybe you know better how people in other countries view our current presidential campaign.

Fear, Fear, Fear and more Fear. All of these people that have to pack heat everywhere they go, people that want to build that stupid wall, people that want to ban "Muslim Travel".

I don't care what half baked argument they throw at me, no one can convince me this isn't a product of right wing fear mongering. That's exactly what we are looking at.

It's pathetic. Sad and pathetic.

It really is. As much as they like to play the tough guy, Republicans/conservatives are scared shitless of their own shadows. They've created so many bogeymen - essentially anybody but old rednecks packing heat.

And now even the old rednecks have turned on the Republican party elites by favoring a vulgar talking yam with a bad combover as their nominee.

Thanks to Trump, redneck is now a political party.

They've become so scared shitless by talk radio and Fox that now they're looking for a strongman to round up all the "others" that threaten them as they spend their golden years on the couch watching Hannity.

Get a list of those countries where they said that.

When Trump gets in office he'll bomb them back to the Stone Age.

I actually think that Kerry was soft-peddling the reaction in other countries. It isn't the rhetoric from Republican candidates they find alarming. It's the Republican candidates themselves. I doubt there's a single country in the world right now that feels confident in their ability to maintain productive relationships with either Trump or Cruz.

The only people overseas who like Trump are the wingnuts of Europe (e.g., Marine Le Pen). Putin is licking his chops, as are the Ayatollahs in Iran, at the thought of a Trump presidency.
