And our physical fitness regimens are very similar.

But you know what?

My dad died of a heart attack at 45.

My mother died of a heart attack at 53.

So with those genes, I'd say I'm doing pretty good.
So your stent isn't your fault?

What a lardass.

I look a helluva lot better than that and I'm pushing 70.

There's an 82 year old Dude that walks the same trail that my wife and I walk everyday and he looks better than her. A lot better.

No wonder she has diabetes and heart problems.

The cancer I don't know. Could be bad luck, or if she smokes, then that's on her too.

I want everybody to have healthcare. Cheap single payer like Medicare. But Dayum, lift a finger to take care of yourself too.

And you claim to be objective.....

There could be many reasons why she suffers from these conditions.... Bad genes being one of them.

And we don't know the obstacles she may have had in her life that contributed to her conditions or kept her from healthier choices.

I'll take some responsibility.

I like to eat.

I was looking at an old copy of my enlistment physical and they have me at 6 foot one and 192 lbs. Nowadays I've shrunk down to six even and this morning I tipped the scales at 215 in my skivvies. I need to cut back a bit. But assuming she's about average height of say 5 foot five, that woman has to go at least a deuce and a half, maybe more.

My son who recently retired from the Army got himself a gig as an EMT and apparently it's been quite a shock to him to see first hand how fat and out of shape so many people are out in the civilian world. Last time I visited him we got on the subject of health care and I said how I thought everyone should have Medicare. He went on this rant about how that would be too expensive because the medical system is already overburdened with fat out of shape people.

So I just figured I'd pass that rant of his along to you.

Bad genes didn't give her that 52 inch waist.

You don't know that. It's a possibility.

Saw my doc yesterday, he says my BP is good 134 over 73,he can't believe my knees have not given out, tore the meniscus on both about four or five years back, and despite 86 years my prostate is behaving itself. This is the product of 52 years of good Canadian preventative medicine.

Oh and I got an urgent survey from that idiot Ryan in today's mail, he sure wont like my answers.

Probably a push poll and a $ solicitation, right?

I've gotten a number of those from various Democratic Organizations.

Some in the mail, some over the net.

Here's some of the the text of the last one I got.

This one didn't have a poll, it just went straight into the pitch for money.

Quote:
URGENT: Help Jon Ossoff win a game-changing victory against Donald Trump

The resistance is mobilizing to elect Jon Ossoff, the bold Democrat who has taken the special election in Georgia's 6th Congressional District by storm, energized by the support of civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis and a growing movement of progressives across America.

Here's why a Jon Ossoff victory can be a game-changer: It will show Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and every other Republican that they could lose control of Congress if they continue to support Donald Trump's catastrophic agenda -- especially the repeal of Obamacare.

This race is extremely close, and every vote counts. Chip in now to help DFA elect Jon Ossoff to Congress.
I wish I had the last one I received, but I deleted it.

It had a real classic push poll.

Anti-Trump of course.

"Somewhere, in an undisclosed room in the U.S. Capitol, there is legislation that will ostensibly repeal and replace Obamacare. On Thursday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) went on a high-profile, somewhat quixotic crusade to find it.
The whole circus was a manifestation of the fact that Republicans trying to make good on a campaign promise to get rid of Obamacare are caught between reality (undoing a major social program on which 20 million people rely isn't easy) and ideology (influential conservative groups are demanding that lawmakers fully repeal Obamacare, or else).

Then Paul got involved and took things to a whole other level.

The story of Rand Paul and the copy machine starts with a seemingly benign meeting. Paul got word that the members of a House Energy and Commerce Committee were gathering to talk about the legislation, as committee members with jurisdiction over health care sometimes do.

Paul marched over from the Senate to the House side — a good quarter-mile walk, depending on where you start — to bang on the door and demand that his colleagues in the House show him the “secret” draft Obamacare bill.

Never one to miss a posturing opportunity, Paul sent nearly a dozen tweets on his march over, ensuring that cameras and tweeting reporters greeted him when he showed up. He even brought his own copy machine — you know, just in case." WP

I guess the GOP has to pass RyanCare before anyone gets to read it...
