Who really creates jobs

Wall Street has its collective knickers in a twist because the economy has stopped growing. It seems the consumers are not consuming so there is no need to hire more workers. Could it be that wages not having kept pace with inflation has all those consumers tapped out?

It seems that Agent Orange's rich friends are not creating jobs as he assured us they would if we did not kill the Boosh tax cuts.

I think I've sold enough work in the last couple of days to create a new job or maybe two.

Just doing my part in saving the economy.

We are having a section of the basement done - our contribution while we wait for those Great Men.

Of course Immelt sending all the X-ray and scanner business to China is not helping. If you think you might need a CT scan I would schedule it soon before the Chinese machines arrive.

Going with a tile floor?

If so, be sure the tiles don't come from China...they're not square.

I lost my drink I laughed so hard. Chinese CT scanners? I hope they aren't using capxon capacitors like the stack of high resolution Samsung monitors I recapped a few months ago. I'll heed your advice if I need a scan.

He's still the jobs advisor to the Prez of course.. Best America has to offer.. Evidently -- if B.H.O. says so..

Sad to say -- but I'm looking for an opportunity to dump my large GE holding at the 1st opportunity.. Their little teat sucking game with Washington is about to end. It was my hedge fund against the success of the (now failing) Dem Socialist Revolution.

Immelt knows he can't pull off that "greener than a tree frog" crap anymore and survive off of $100 check from DOE for every washer/dryer combo.. So he's gonna go earn some honest money in China.. I'll give him 6 years before the Chinese don't need him anymore.

But, if those jobs don't pay worth a hoot and no one earning those wages can afford to buy anything, or if the jobs created only exist in China, it does us damn little good. Hence the point of Robs post, which flew right over your head.

Class dismissed.....

(I guess it's true ...what someone once told me about smart people having no commonsense.)

You're proving me wrong, in my thinking that small business doesn't really drive the economy. And, I thank you for that.
