Remember Rep. Michael Grimm R-N.Y.?

This was the idiot who threatened to throw a reporter off the observation gallery balconey in the House of Representatives for asking about his shadey dealings. Welp, he's getting indicted.

God help you if you accuse a Republican of "shady dealings". Everybody knows they are angels, so accusing them makes YOU the bad guy. You didn't know that, Bob?

With the ruling by the SCOTUS would it now be legal?

The only and last Republican rep. in NY City.

"Despite Grimm’s legal predicament, Republicans are probably stuck with the embattled congressman on the ballot because the filing deadline for candidates passed two weeks ago. Some New York Republicans are angry about the timing of the charges, fearful that the case could get worse and leave them without a viable candidate in November. Grimm is the only Republican who represents any part of New York City.
House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) has not spoken to Grimm about the indictment, according to aides. Neither Boehner nor Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) has commented about Grimm’s future. The National Republican Congressional Committee has declined to comment on the case. In some previous ethics cases, Boehner has called for lawmakers to resign or removed them from their committee assignments.
Grimm sits on the Financial Services Committee, which oversees Wall Street and the banking industry."

"The charges outlined in the unsealed indictment allege that Grimm’s restaurant hid from local and federal tax officials more than $1 million in receipts, while also paying workers hundreds of thousands of dollars “off the books” to further avoid paying taxes. The prosecutors said Grimm then lied about the scheme while giving a deposition in 2013 for a lawsuit filed by workers.

The indictment included five counts each of mail and wire fraud, three counts related to filing false tax returns, two counts of perjury and one count of obstructing the investigation. Other counts are related to hiring illegal immigrants and declining to provide workers’ compensation insurance."

On these grounds alone, Hannity is probably preparing for his show tonight in which he'll call him a patriot.

To think that this criminal was once a sworn FBI agent, attorney and a decorated Marine. Just amazing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Grimm_(politician)

"Loretta Lynch, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, released the 30-page indictment in a strongly worded attack against the former FBI fraud investigator. “Michael Grimm made the choice from going to upholding the law to breaking the law,” Lynch told reporters.
“As a former FBI agent, Representative Grimm should understand the motto: fidelity, bravery, and integrity,” FBI Assistant Director George Venizelos said in a statement. “Yet he broke our credo at nearly every turn. In this twenty-count indictment, Representative Grimm lived by a new motto: fraud, perjury, and obstruction.” "

Of course he will.

Representative Grimm is a business owner, a job creator and a true patriot in every sense of the word.

See, I've even learned how to do it, just like Sean would.

Kind of depressing, really.

The fun part is that it is too late to submit another GOPer to run for the seat so with any luck his seat is up for grabs/
