In the space of a moment.
Wearily as a approach the corner, tired and sullen, weary of the long night the sound of footsteps draws near. Lifting my heavy head, she suddenly appears, eyes brilliant and golden brown, shining as if illuminated by some inner light, a stellar soul radiating, if but for a moment, lifting my spirit. "Good morning.", my feeble and wayward greeting.......A smile and a nod as she passes, but nary a whisper. I stop and turn slightly to look from the corner of my eye as she disappears, a whisp of her scent hangs in the air, it's warm subtleties remind me of a time long lost.........and the loneliness of my dreams....

Physically-----5'6". Metaphysically-----My head is in the stars, high above it all and patiently waiting for release.

Or as my Southern mother once said, "You are as much as a po-et as a sheep is a go-at."
