It's still a little early here for ice cubes in my bourbon. Don't wanna fall off a ladder, you know?

BTW, it's a balmy 70+ degrees out here and it's in the +50's in the Aleutians and in southeast Alaska. Amazing how the polar vortex system dropped off of the north pole and into your part of the planet. HK says it's like springtime in Bavaria. Strange weather, indeed.

The snow trolls would have us believe that 97% of climate scientists are either wrong or in the pay of people like VP A. Gore.

Seems a bit preposterous, no?

Time for 'The Day After Tomorrow'?

I will say that of course the climate will change.

Should give it a check.

I usually watch BBC but I find them suspect when it comes to Russia.

I like Farnce24 because their actual news reporting is very straightforward, they generally leave opinion to opinion pieces and interviews. The beeb, not so much, though I still like them.

I'll have to watch their bits on Russia carefully now I feel that way with Al Jazeera and Israel.

It was a big mistake to say global warming even though the average temperatures are indeed rising. Climate change is a better way of describing what is going on.

Good movie.
I loved that scene with those pale faced wetbacks wading across the Rio Grande into Mexico. Does that make me a racist pig?

That was a good movie. I laughed so hard I damn near puked. The best part was when the youngsters were holed up in the library burning books to stay warm, while the one kid's daddy, the two fisted college professor, walked half way across America on snowshoes to save 'em.

You're a racist pig

It was a good modern take on old scifi b movies.

It would have been better if the Blob had done a cameo, but I guess it was just too cold.
