I'd like that, but it's too late here now.

Hell or High Water.
Gritty well done film in the spirit of No Country for Old Men. Principle actors deserving potential Academy Award nominees.

Criminal (2016)

Sane scientist Tommy Lee Jones, at the behest of Mad CIA Chief Gary Oldman, shoots some memories and feelings from a dead CIA agent into the head of absolute psycho Kevin Costner, and Costner is a better man for it.

There's this little problem going on about a hacker who's taken over control of All the Nukes.....

Actually a good thriller. The story is told clearly enough that you can follow it, nobody (except Oldman) does anything unbelievably stupid, and you can actually like the Costner character....

Indeed, Costner's performance makes the movie. His best outing since Dances with Wolves.

Hard Boiled. Reconnect with an early John Woo. (1992)

That and a Nova program on Terrorism suggest quite an emphasis on the subject at PBS. Right now. For some reason....

The Nova one is interesting enough, but the Pentagon one is all government workers going on about their ordeal. Which was an ordeal no doubt but still, less than fascinating....
