Judge orders Trump attorney to turn over documents to Jan. 6 panel

https://thehill.com/policy/national-...o-jan-6-panel/

Attorney-client privilege won't protect your sorry ass when you've committed a crime, dummy. Stinking Federalist.

Peter Navarro complains about potential legal fees: 'I'll be eating dog food if I stay out of jail'

Huh. Sounds like the "expert economist" didn't handle his personal finances very well.

No worries, Pete, I'm sure Donny will pay your legal fees.

Easy solution Pete. Club Fed will provide three hots and a cot. I hear they provide the same accommodations at GITMO too.

Now that McDonald’s has pulled out of Russia, Donny’s choices of countries to run to have narrowed.

The Two-Pronged Test That Could Put Trump in Prison
As the January 6th hearings unfold, a former U.S. Attorney discusses the possibility of criminally prosecuting the former President.

https://www.newyorker.com/news/q-and...rump-in-prison

Biggest problem is that no one ever envisioned that a president* would commit the sort of crimes that Donny committed, so there are no statutes specific enough to match his corruption. Going to be a long slog, sadly. Of course, he'll appeal any conviction all the way to this heavily-biased far-Reich SCOTUS.

Another good reason to expand the SC, now!

Decoding Liz Cheney’s big hint about John Eastman — and Donald Trump

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...-john-eastman/

Quote:
“President Trump had no factual basis for what he was doing, and he had been told it was illegal,” Cheney continued. Despite this, she added, Trump “plotted” with Eastman and others to overturn the election on Jan. 6, 2021.

A crucial hint there is that Trump had been told this was illegal. This suggests the committee might furnish new evidence that Trump had been warned that such pressure — which constituted an effort to push Pence into violating his official duty — could violate the law.
Donny knew he was breaking the law. Lock him up!
