Always the same paranoid rhetoric from the NRA wackjobs. I'm waiting for the screeching condemnation that how everyone on the left is using this for their own political agenda.

Google the words "false flag Colorado" and see what comes up.

This is a particularly fun one:

From the linked-to article:
Quote:
"An attack on our 2nd Amendment is being launched in earnest as the anti-gun propagandists come out of the woodwork with 101 new good ideas to prevent another incident like that which occurred in Colorado on Friday. This false flag was designed so specifically that it is being identified as such by every non-brainwashed American that sees it."

"Purchases of firearms in the US have been increasing to the millions per month as the soviet so************************t insurgency is moving closer to martial law and a totalitarian dictatorship. The enemies of our Republic are showing their desperation to stop the American people from arming for our defense.

We have been expecting a false flag operation and that is why Colorado was chosen as it offers the maximum control for the operatives. Colorado is an international soviet so************************t stronghold within our borders. The UN controlled NORTHCOM is located in Colorado Springs in the side of a mountain and there are many square miles of insurgent underground facilities in the Denver area. This latest insurgent op in Aurora occurred only 16 miles from Columbine, Colorado, where the infamous false flag school shooting was carried out in 1999." From that same article.

If this isn't evidence of some serious mental illness, I don't know what is.
I've seen some paranoid ramblings from the left on occasion but these folk(Rachel Cohen, author) make a case for electroshock and Thorazine therapy.

Maybe that's what the right is scared of in the secret portions of the PPACA?

Apparently the shooter was discharged from the Army as a consquence of a 'pattern of misconduct.' That is a fairly typical description, in my experience, for a discipline problem. That description was commonly used during my USN days for guys we characterized rather elegantly as 'slugs.' If the reports are accurate, theny this guy was hardly a model soldier.

I've known a few people of the Sikh faith and this story is typical of these very strong and resilient people from the state of Punjab in India. Instead of insularity in the face of this tragedy, they invite us to their temple this Sunday to pray with them.

For the record:

1. He was deemed unworthy of bearing a firearm in our military.
2. But he can possess, legally, all he wants in our society.

Fuckin' stupid.
