Former US ambassador to Canada: Navarro comments 'unconscionable'

https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/11/polit...ntv/index.html

A few of the more sensible Repubes (RINOs in Whell’s idiot world) also pushed back.

"I thought (Navarro) should've kept his big mouth shut because I don't think that helps us inform policy and I think frankly it was out of line," Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee, told CNN on Monday.

Sen. Susan Collins called Navarro's comments "completely unhelpful" towards negotiations with US allies.

"I'm very concerned about how personal the dispute has become between members of the White House staff -- and even the President himself -- and Justin Trudeau," Collins, R-Maine, told CNN. "It seems to me that despite our frictions with Canada -- and we have had trade disputes in the past and we have issues with the Canadian subsidies right now -- that we need to recognize that Canada has been a close friend, a reliable ally and is one of our biggest trading partners."

Trump needs enemies, he doesn't need friends. His aggrieved base wants to hate everybody but their Dear Leader and whoever he endorses, be it Putin, Kim, or Duterte.

All the deplorables care about is seeing their moron do his bully act with no concern to traditions and long term relationships. It does not seem to bother them that rest of the world cringes at Trump.

States that supported Trump would get hit hardest in a Canada trade war

Too funny! Morons.

The $1.4 Trillion U.S. ‘Surplus’ That Trump’s Not Talking About

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...-talking-about

These facts wouldn’t play well to his idiot base.

Remember during the campaign he was always mentioning how South Korea was killing us with their edge in importing TVs to the USA? When I think about it now maybe he was referring to Samsung?

Anyway maybe in his mind the thinks getting close to North Korea is sort of payback to South Korea for having so many TVs with Samsung lcd panels sold here. So canceling "war games" and pulling out our troops from the 38th parallel might be punishment for a trade imbalance in LCD screens.

Sounds crazy but this Trump we are talking about.

At least we are seeing the foundations for the Trump University Doctrine being laid in his foreign policy endeavors.

According to this three-year old web article, yes.
