French fries and a prime cut of beef are two different things, I suspect you know that.

(I wouldn't think rock hard french fries would be very easy to eat......)

speaking of prime rib I paid 15$ a pound last week for a 7 pound roast!

What do others pay?

$2.99 for top round, on sale. I bought a ton of it and ground most of it into hamburg. $5.99 is regular price for that cut. $15.00 sounds about right for a prime rib roast.

About that here, really cheap now they do not have to disclose country of origin. I wonder why, get your for real Szechuan beef.
