Being what they call an "essential worker" I leave home at 3AM and get home at about 5:30PM. My only interactions are an occasional co-worker, my wife, my recliner and my bed.

I just started going through this thread. The above comment is one of the stupidest things I have ever read.

Have you changed your mind about COVID now that almost a quarter of a million Americans have died? Or is it still just a hoax. I suppose 911 was just a giant conspiracy as well and no one died in the twin towers.

Not Insane is clearly a smart and well-educated person, with a great facility with the language and a wide-ranging store of facts. So why he makes stupid arguments like the above is a mystery requiring explanation. My theory is he is paid to do it.

Well educated? No, his writing indicates he is not, in fact. Way too many grammatical errors, and clearly not well-rounded in the Liberal Arts. He apparently is a technical writer by trade, though he's never had a steady job, instead working as a contractor. I'd be surprised if he has more than a high school education, perhaps some community college, or military training.
