Where does my post that was a reply to TJ's point reference marine mammals?

Regarding my reference to dolphins in a previous post, they commit murder and rape.

Your post that TJ was replying to referred to your post concerning chimpanzees and dolphins. Your reply was a defense of that post.

Got me there. Should've read what was on paper instead of relying on my old fart and at present drug addled memory. Being an old fart I'll close with this: "The faintest ink is more powerful than the strongest memory."

There really isn't much you can say to a person who habitually asks several questions, and then conveniently dodges addressing any of the answers one took the time to provide, in favor of just another snarky personal comment like this, is there?

Regarding "dolphin" murder. Apparently you don't understand that "murder" is a legal term used to identify the act of a human who has been convicted of murder.

As far as "dolphin" rape is concerned:

Quote:
The legal definitions of rape include a lack of consent on the part of the victim, and we simply cannot know the extent to which dolphins or other animals are able to give consent. A non-consensual act like rape has “moral and legal implications” that are only relevant in the human world, which is why legitimate animal scientists stopped using the term altogether in the early 1980s. The correct scientific term to describe when a male aggressively restrains a female in order to mate is forced copulation. Forced copulation has been observed in ducks, lizards, monkeys, fruit flies, crickets, orangutans, chimpanzees, and countless other species.

But not dolphins.

Despite the media frenzy around the idea of dolphin rape, it’s primates, birds and insects that are the forced copulation aficionados, not dolphins. And again, non-consensual acts which have moral implications are only relevant in the human world.
As far as "forced copulation", "infanticide" and other human developed concepts that some ignoramuses need to apply to animals because of their twisted ideology and politics...these are aspects of natural selection that have no moral implications.

Thus endeth the lesson.
