Work Bench

Some folks have posted pictures of their work benches and others have mentioned that they want a bench of their own. I have a plan for a bench made from one sheet of 3/4 inch plywood that uses no nails or screws. It slides together and locks itself into place. I built the one I use at work over 30 years ago and use it daily with no trouble ever.

I would be glad to send anyone that wants the plan a copy. The only cost would be a self addressed stamped envelope. PM me.

Here is a picture. Sorry for the quality - cell phone.

That is entirely too neat and orderly, John.

This means you are psychotic.

Mine used to be a door.

Dave

I have three benches and none of then are that clean and empty. I also use an old console from time to time as a bench.

Nice st up like how all you parts are close by and labeled.

Super nice! All I need is a garage to put one in.

Thanks for the compliments! I repair brasswinds and woodwinds for a living. I can hardly tell which end of a soldering is which... just ask my fingers!

I thought brass instruments were at least partially sweated. Maybe you can learn to solder circuit boards with a torch.

It's plumbing with air instead of water.

Some of the parents try soldering the horns with soldering irons. What a mess!

That's a cool profession, John. My favorite bench is an old 2 drawer library table. I'll get a pic up when I get my camera back from my *#%@^**! bro-in-law.
