I hunt regularly.

Camoflaged as a typical t-shirt wearing workin' class slob, I can be found stalking fresh fruit and vegetables and the occasional lump of animal flesh at Food Lion at least twice a week. If I feel really manly and want to go after the big game---Harris Teeter.

Yeah, riiight. We know you're hunting that two legged variety at the Food Lion. Best huntin' grounds if I remember correctly but then I'm pleading the fifth, my better half probably has installed a keylogger on my machine.

Glad to be seen.

Or were you talking to Bob, who excused himself without ever leaving?

Bob works construction, and the whole point of construction is to work yourself out of a job.

He simply accomplished his hiatus in record time.

The only thing I do during deer season is fence in all our new Norway Spruce so the white tailed lawn rats can't detroy them. A whole bush full of shrobbery but they insist on using my trees.

I am taking my 13 year old sone to hunters safety course in June. We are hoping to do some pheasant and goose hunting this fall.
Maybe next we'll we'll see if we can do some antelope or deer.

Not hunting so much anymore either. It's tough on an old man to sit in a
pine tree with damp cold 30 mph winds whipping around.

About 6 weeks ago an old timer took me out on his pontoon boat and showed
me how to catch monster catfish on noodles. So far I have caught a few in
the 10-35lb range. 2 weeks ago I had a couple on that would have went 50lbs
plus but could not get them in. Got them up to the boat and they started
rolling and straightened out the 4 o circle hooks.

Noodle fishing is basically just jug fishing but using a 12" section of foam pool noodle
instead of the jugs. Using cut bait and live bluegills for bait. It's a blast
and easy to just to sit back and watch about 20 of them.

The last time I went jug fishing, about 10 years ago, was in a farm pond. We went down there the first thing in the morning, and all of the jugs except one were on one side of the pond, and the other was on the opposite bank.

Anyway, once we positioned the boat, I was pulling this jug out of the moss and looking at what I thought was the maw of a nice cat. Turned out to be a nasty assed snapping turd the size of a five gallon bucket, and he wasn't very friendly.

I've taken a dim view of 9MM ball every since that day. I probably shot that bastard 2 or 3 times, and when we came back for him a couple of hours later, he was still alive.

I hate snapping turds, almost as much as I hate water mocs.
