It breaks my heart to think about what the libs have done to that great state.

Wasn't so much talking about the car industry as much as the government. Now that you mention it though, both of my "out of work lib neighbors" drive foreign jobs.

I am gonna disagree with you on this. I am surrounded by hundreds of thousands here in Michigan who feel the same way as you Rob. Problem is
these same people shop at Walmart 5 times a week. See where I'm going with this ?

GM lost 30 billion last year. Walmart made close to 400 Billion.

I am not advocating only buying north American products ( hell its impossible )
But those who blame this all on the Asian car market just don't seem to get that theres more to this story then chapter one.

Won't argue that one but I will say that both Florennce and I can get quite vocally loud in stores when we ask "Don't you carry any American products, I don't want this Chinese crap". Needed a new sink drain and ended up paying twice as much for a Delta rather than buy the Chinese one. Florence returned a jar of mushrooms to the Giant, when asked what was wrong she pointed out that they were from China and got amazed looks - hell who knows what coould have been in the jar. If they will poison their own babies for profit what would stop them from poisoning us?

Sure Wallmart and Mattel, and others who shipped jobs overseas do not get my money. There are two Impala LSs in the garage and that's the way it will stay.
