On this particular issue the Indy Dems need help from above. But those above are wearing two hats.

A way to get help is by taking peacefully to the streets with civil disobedience
to draw attention and embarrass the powers that be into some action.

I note where Carrier has huge federal contracts.

Of course it's respectable, or at least it can be. That isn't the point. Our job is to call attention to injustice and demand remedies. As our elected representatives, the politicians' responsibility is to heed our demands and create the necessary legislation.

Dindillion's post, the one I took exception to, would have politicians and party officials directly agitating and urging riotous behavior and the illegal occupation of public property. That would be equivalent to, for instance, the RNC urging the Bundys to occupy Malheur.

My expansion did not imply riotous behavior...the word peaceful is everywhere.
Illegal sit in, yes! But PEACEFUL.

No, not "everywhere". For instance, not in the post I originally cited.

The Malheur occupation was "peaceful".

The vast majority of the workforce have been brainwashed. Thinking good paying union jobs are the reason they are being underpaid. Told, look at those lazy overpaid union guys who can't get fired need to taken down. Not that you need to brought up to the union scale.

This is a slow process taking many years to come to this point. Every time we pay a bill online go thru the self checkout lane order online more people lose jobs that will never come back.
