That is "The Chronic". A giant of an album in the rap/hip hop world and a long time favorite in the genre here.
On of my teachers at the Conservatory was a second engineer on that album. He had a lot of tips as to how they got the sounds (including the big bass) and a lot of other stories bout the sessions and the characters involved.
