My local radio station

I live in a small town now but it does have it's own radio station. I am not a radio guy so I just leave this staion on to hear about local stuff. Of course most the programing is syndicated talk radio which as we all know is 98% radical right.

So anyway I am on my way back from checking in on my mom and the voice in my car is rallying employers to fire any employees they have that voted for Obie and replace them with folks that voted for the lovely Sarah.

He goes so far as to suggest that employers devote some time and energy into discovering who voted for Obie in case it is not obvious and they are not wearing an Obie pin or car does not have an Obie bumper sticker.

This is unbelievable yet I am sure many will follow this mandate to the letter.

This pressure was applied to my sister in law before the election. The letter stated that if Obama was elected the company would be forced to lay off employees.

Whatever happened to the "secret ballot"?

Who's the "he"? Was it a caller or the host of the show?

This is the same sort of thing - but worse - that we saw with that doctor who put up a sign in his office saying that anyone who voted for Obama should find themselves another physician.

Boortz does sound somewhat boorish.

Oh, yeah, I know Boortz. He's very extreme. I can see him wanting to round up the opposition.

All ready have. I was listening to Limbaugh the afternoon the election results came out. (Just to listen to him whine like the fat, spoiled little punk he is.)
A woman from Oregon called in and told him that she "woke up this morning, closed my business and let all of my employees go. There's no point in it anymore." The pampered POS applauded her her decision and urged others to do the same.

I believe some of them have and that this is the reason why our economy refuses to fully recover.

Welcome to Modern Day America, Pete!

Do you honestly think things like this are right?

Threatening people, holding their means of supporting themselves over their heads to sway their vote?

And you wonder where I get some of the ideas I have expressed in these forums?

The boot on our necks, Pete. The boot on our necks.

You'll shut up, serve your master and keep him rich, or he'll f**k you bloody.

Have a great weekend!

Dave
