Stupid bank robber

http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/crime/story/896505.html

This guy ain't stupid, he's going home, to Club Fed.

They teach ya better than this in the joint. he's just tired of trying trying to make it on the streets.

Read the entire article. Bet once he's home, he's a model convict, and the kind of con that I could have got along with.

Society ain't for everyone, and the reporter who wrote this has no clue,

Chas

Crazy like a Fox ain't he? I was sponsoring a guy last year in AA that had been in prison since he was 18 (he was 48 when he got out and showed up at AA). He didn't want to go out of his apt. much, except to fish if I would take him. He said that everything was too different and he would never be able to catch up. Less than a month later he got caught with some meth and sent back up. Funny thing was, he didn't do meth, and I know that for a fact. He would burn a doobie, or drink some whisky, but not meth. I figured he planned it out.

He could never sleep, and he said it was because it was too quiet. He was used to the noise of the cell block I guess.

Guess you get used to it. Institutionalized was what it was called. I never could understand how anyone could sleep in those cell blocks, either too hot or too cold, stunk, always noisy. Course, some of the ones that I worked were over 100 yrs old.

To tell the truth, if I thought that I had to go back down there, either as a con, or a screw, I'd probably tie a plastic bag over my head.
