I don't know about Spain.... But i have observed Mexican men kiss each other.... In a "brotherhood" kind of way. Typically men who are related or part of an extended family. Where I live there is a huge Mexican population. I never thought much about it either way.

You will note that I did say I never saw that sort of thing. As to the air kiss on the cheek it is quite common in parts of Europe. In fact in Geneva if memory serves it is left - right - left.

As to putting on airs she did not know about her titled ancestor until I researched her family tree. Genealogy is a hobby of mine and I currently have nearly 11,000 people in the family tree
