Today thousands from Europe's steel industry march in Brussels demanding that China be denied Market Economic Status.

The European commission does not appear trustworthy.

What I don't get is how we let China bribe Afghani officials to mine copper and the USA built stations, putting American lives at rtisk to provide free protection for the mining operation.

But they used the copper to build cheap goods for us, so it works out.

Yeah they build a lot of cheap stuff.

The crankshaft in my Vega is a Callies which was forged in China, but because the Chinese are always cheating on the quality, the steel is brought in from Russia.

In the construction industry, it's amazing the amount of cheap counterfeit junk posing as high-strength bolts, reinforcing steel, rigging equipment ...

Some Chinese mfgrs are reliable, others ayor. Same with suppliers.
