Chrysler and Ford products don't seem to do any better.

Note that it was one Ford model, the Exploder. Rest of them were better. That GM Tril Blazer did not last long, strange looking vehicle.

Honda probably suffered because of their Reynolds Wrap bodies.

I do not believe it......
if Toyota and Honda are on the list it is because of being forced to go to the dealer because of the check engine light failures which are usually (always) connected to the emission control systems. I have been running on bad cat code on my CRV for 4 years (it goes on and off...I wait for it to go off and then drive 30 miles and then smog it)...

that aside I think they are probably high on the list because so many are sold. My Honda Civic went to 289,000 and my Honda CRV is at 242,000. Minor repairs have to be done...

It appears 01 and 06 for Civics.

Rob I've heard many mentions of the Explorer as the 'Exploder'

Oh Hondas are not that bad, just don't hit anyhing. Lady hit my Ford with her Civic - $265 for the Ford, they had the Civic up to $1400 and were still counting.

I thought you rode with the General.

And now you admit that your poor wife drives a Ford (Fucking Old Rebuilt Dodge)?

You're a cold man.
