Listening to the CNN Town Hall (via TuneIn, as I don’t have cable). Same old bullshit from Rubio and the NRA spokesperson.

The right wing nut jobs believe these articulate kids are “actors”, because they’re so well spoken compared to their own halfwit inbred offspring. These youngsters make the likes of Rubio look like exactly what they are - hypocrites. Rubio refused to pledge not to take further money from the NRA. Despicable.

It's more important to see how their parents vote.
We do not want the anger typical in teenagers played out in schools violently.

Here is a comment from one of the students now in Tallahassee canvassing for stricter gun control and getting lukewarm responses:
Quote:
Proponents of stricter gun control, however, seem unlikely to be appeased by what they perceive as half-measures. Students at the Capitol Wednesday denounced the Legislature for having voted down a proposal on Tuesday to consider banning assault weapons. “The people around us failed us,” declared Delaney Tarr, a student at Stoneman Douglas. “And if they continue to fail us, then they will no longer be in office because soon we will have the ability to vote, and we will vote them out.”

These assholes in the FL legislature voted out an assault weapons ban this week and now facing intense well deserved heat the students and parents.

Consider America as a living organism. A huge sick living organism. The millions and millions of guns are the carcinogenic cells in this body. There is absolutely no therapy to remove these cancer cells.

So any discussion on this issue is completely in vain.

No irony, no cynism here. Only bitterness.

It can be done, but it will require willingness and time. There is no quick fix for this, the shift of the apathetic middle will be paramount.

Putting guns into schools???? Arming teachers???
Idiotic!
The height of foolishness, shear stupidity!

It is the ease of availability in obtaining lethal weapons by those who should never be allow to own or operate that is the root of this problem.

Adding more guns will not fix this problem any more then additional nukes will make us safer.

Besides what happens to a teacher who refuses to carry? When students grab the weapon from a packing teacher?

Wayne LaPierre in his CPAC speech disparages "elites" and "the privileged" and "the powerful" and Washington in general. His compensation from the NRA tops $5 million annually, tax documents show.

Yet fools like Whell buy into this kind of BS, constantly. How ignorant must they be?

NRA goes on the offensive after Parkland shooting, assailing media and calling for more armed school security

More school security and who will pay for this? Tax payers of course just so the NRA can peddle more guns for NSSF (gun manufacturer's association). NRA is just their mouthpiece. Schoos are hurting, teachers are grossly underpaid and we are going to spend scant funds or rent-a-cops? This is what I call a Fucking Joke.
Quote:
“They don’t care about our school children,” LaPierre said near the start of the Conservative Political Action Conference, the largest annual gathering of American conservatives. “They want to make all of us less free.”
Listen asshole, it's the school children who marched to Tallahassee because they have found that it's the politicians who don't give a shit about them.

Of course the Dotard is now trumpeting Wayne. Of course he does not have any sane advisors to lead him by the nose.

‘ATTACKS WOULD END!’: Trump doubles down on arming some teachers, defends NRA

Keep talking asshole, the GOP needs you this November.
