The Stones missed the boat when they hired Ron Wood instead of Harvey Mandel.

I like them, but only have a little H&R 22 revolver that was left to me. If I was going to spend money on a gun it wouldn't be an assault rifle.

I have, and it's fun, but I'm coming to the end of my shotgun days. A few bad discs right where the neck meets the back and the twisting motion becomes seriously not good.

What?

From the way you talk, I thought you had a home arsenal like Burt from Tremors.

LOL

But nope! Frankly I'd rather buy more LPs - or car parts

But I know a LOT of people who enjoy their guns: hunters or target shooting, plus a survivalist or two and one military buff that I shudder to think probably has rocket launchers in his house. Sometimes it's the most unlikely people.

Plus side I get to shoot a lot of different guns

Yep. But they even missed the boat when they let Wayne Perkins go. Just listen to the guitar work on "Hand of Fate." It's fabulous...Ron Wood can't get close.

Digression is the path to knowledge....

it worked for Socrates....

if you do not have the Brussel Affair 1973 bootleg download from Google Music get it...has Mick T on the left channel, Keith on the right putting out some monster riffs.

Don't have that. Didn't know it existed. It's now on my buy list.

I do have the "Ladies and Gentlemen" DVD, performance from the Texas shows in the US tour the year before, and it's excellent. I really enjoy showing it to younger friends who have given me the PFFFFFfffftttt....when I try to tell them that it was a different band back in those days. After a few minutes of this, most of them understand immediately.

YEP!!!

There is absolutely nothing that gun is used for other than to assault someone with it.

It's not accurate for sport target shooting, It's not accurate for hunting game.

The only thing it's good for is to kill a human, "Assault Weapon"

A beautiful gun if ya ask. But i also grew up with lever action a 22-250, and my dads .270. Got quite accurate with them using the rifle sights. Id love to have a .338 for mid to long range target practicing.
Currently my son has a Gamo presicion air rifle which he loves and got the hang of quite fast. Hope to be able to hunt for grouse and ptarmigan before the season ends. See how many head shots he can do with it.
I grew up hunting and a .270 will take down a caribou from a few hundred feet. though never shot a moose with it...I know some people who use the AR-15 for hunting and i have never seen the merits of calling a semi auto an assault rifle. it shoots one at a time. A assault rifle is fully automatic with a minimum of 3 shot bursts at the trigger pull. to the gaitling gun at what 6000 rounds minute?
Would you call a semi auto shotgun a assault shot gun? my dad hand one IIRC it was sweet.
well i said my piece and being the thread killer im sure no more will be said...maybe i should be called the assault threader?
