I realize the only thing keeping the Post Office afloat is junk mail, and I imagine it helps to keep the garbageman busy hauling all of that shit to the dump as well.

But for this momo to suggest that seniors, or anyone for that matter, loves to receive junk mail is total insanity.

I actually do get important mail, and it's nothing but a pain in the ass to dig through all of that garbage in order to find it.

I'm all in favor of a post office, if they have to raise their rates, so be it. And if Opps or Fed Express can knock them off of their perch, so be that as well.

But don't insult my intelligence by telling me that I want that garbage delivered to me every day.

One garbageman is enough.

Chas
I know exactly what you mean Chas. I write above the company address...unsolicited mail...return to sender. They have to pay return postage. It has almost eliminated my junk mail.

The postal service thanks you for your support.

I've been known to cram a return envelope with magazine pages just to up the cost of doing business for some particularly offensive solicitors.

Regards,

D-Ray

What amuses me are the endless solicitations from all the "commmunities for the aging". Sure thing guys see you in another 20 years - maybe.

You mean the local Masoleums don't send you mail about their accommodations? Or...How you can easily get a reverse mortgage?
How about this one? No medical exam needed and you cannot be denied for life insurance?
