All Hail Czar Vlad the Lesser!

"The honor guard and flag bearers wore uniforms with tall military caps, of a style dating from Russia’s war with Napoleon in 1812. The ceremony itself unfolded in a Kremlin hall used to crown three czars — Alexander II, Alexander III and Nicholas II — as well as previous presidential inaugurations. And later, Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church, gave Mr. Putin an 18th century icon while blessing him for his new term." NY Times

What? No Cossacks trampling serfs underfoot to honor the leader of the Hermit Kingdom? Too bad President* Klownstick von Drumpf couldn't be there for the ritual pissing down his back.

"Russia's parliament is expected to consider a constitutional amendment that would allow Russian President Vladimir Putin to run in the 2024 election — a move that could potentially extend his rule until he is 77, if not older.
The proposal would change Russia's constitution so that the president can hold office for three consecutive terms rather than the current limit of two. Putin, who has held high office in Russia since 1999, had previously stepped out of the president's office to become prime minister in 2008 because of term limits.
While Putin was out of the Kremlin, his protege Dmitry Medvedev took over the presidency — and presided over a constitutional amendment that lengthened subsequent presidential terms from four years to six. Putin returned to the presidency in 2012 and won reelection this year." WP

If there ever was a President who didn't dare leave office for fear of subsequent prosecution, it's Trump.

If the last Tzar of the Russian Empire was as talented as Vlad, the CCCP would've never existed.

In one area Vlad is trying hard to correct some of the damages which occurred from the excesses of the Bolsheviks. He has restored and built many orthodox churches.

Vlad has it right :
The protection of the state against Balkanization.

The nurture and protection of children and a return to procreation ideology.
