The Washington Post garnered two more Pulitzers this week. I wonder if the LA Times won any? I'll have to check.

This is also my reason for membership here. Since posters provide links, it saves me a lot of time hunting down interesting and significant events. I have become a bit more open (left leaning) since being here.

And here is some good news for you librals:

Washington Post wins Pulitzer Prize for public service, shared with Guardian

Wonder if Faux News would report it.

Edit: Bob beat me to it.

I don't particularly care for the Oregonian as it is normally a bit too liberal for me, but I have to give credit where it is due.

The Oregonian was awarded the Pulitzer Prize Monday for editorial writing about Oregon's troubled Public Employee Retirement System, better known as PERS.

The Pulitzer Prize judges offered this commentary on the entry:

Awarded to the Editorial Staff of The Oregonian, Portland, for its lucid editorials that explain the urgent but complex issue of rising pension costs, notably engaging readers and driving home the link between necessary solutions and their impact on everyday lives.
