What about "a large mass of helpless people threatened by death"?

However, this picture is for you!

They are not helpless.

They are largely, well dressed able body males of arm bearing age, who have kicked their way through many countries in search of the best deal - Germany and Sweden.

As such they are mainly - economic migrants who probably would not have left where they were (Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, North Africa) if your ladyship had not opened her big mouth.

Interesting that Syria is conspicuously absent from your list of countries but I guess it wouldn't serve your argument very well to include it. Also to demean the plight of refugees from Afghanistan or from Libya ("North Africa"), not to mention Syria, by calling them economic migrants is a pretty cheap shot. This also applies to Pakistan, though to a lesser degree. And, though there are many Turks in Germany, and they are indeed economic migrants, there are essentially none (perhaps literally none) in this current exodus.

It is the German people who are helpless: from many media inputs the policemen have cried uncle.

They are like bleating sheep.

There are many safe countries between Syria and Germany. Many Syrians come from Turkey. Read my post 24..."left where they were".

"Left where they were" is ambiguous. They "were" in their native countries at one time. What are those countries? Do you think they really left for economic reasons?

So, because the list of countries you gave wouldn't take them, "Germany and Sweden" shouldn't?

Left where they were - is connected to - if your ladyship

They are largely economic shoppers who refused to register in several countries.

Their shout/demand - We want to go to Germany!

Frau Merkel didn't take them from anywhere. She accepted them when they arrived. Should she have refused them and allowed them to pile up on her border? That would create 100 Calais but without a 30km wide "moat" to hkeep them out.

What other countries might they be that offered them registration and under what conditions were they required to register?

Frankly, Dondi, you are being ruled by your paranoia and xenophobia on this issue. Every post of yours on this subject is suffused with irrational fear and hatred of these refugees, undisguised contempt for anyone trying to help them and a stubborn refusal to acknowledge the practical necessities of this situation and the humanitarian imperatives involved.
