They absolutely would. No question.

They can't tell one policy from another. To them it is all gobbledygook.

They just look at the flag and police who is pledging it.

I'll toss out that it doesn't matter. Obama was actually to the left of Kucinich during his short time in Congress, and for all the hope and change and big business is bad left the same bunch in.

Why isn't George W. Bush at the convention, nor helping Romeny campaign,
the way President Clinton is for Obama? Plus Clinton is the keynote for the Democratic convention this year. Where is W? Not in Miami. The hope and change hype was just an expression of how sick America was and still is of Bush II.

And what's interesting is that Romney's current policies (and advisors) are a bunch of Dubya retreads (e.g., John Bolton is advising Romney). The GOP wants to make the public believe that it's current policies (which are mostly the same as the old ones) will fix the problems caused by these policies.
