This is both music, and politics !

Back in 1992 a group of women whose band name was "L7" recorded this song. The one line that most got me was "They're neither moral nor majority"

I know, I know, not nearly as epic as CCR's Fortunate Son, but still a very catchy tune from 30 years ago that's still highly relevant today.......

I am friends with Donita Spark's sister, although I've never seen L7 (except that one time on Letterman)

Welcome aboard.

My fave L7 song is a cover of Willie with Waylon on backing vocals.

The YouTube audio doesn't do it justice...great recording !

Thank You for the welcome BlueStreak

I gotta say I'm happy that people still know who L7 is, I know a lot of 90s music doesn't get much respect among old farts like me nowadays, but I was always attracted to music made by cute girls with that kind of angry energy. Music like this;

"German Harpsichord Music performed by Alfred Gross"

It's an "Edition Open Window" release recorded in Germany in 1985 using "minimalist audiophile recording techniques". (Whatever that means.}

This copy is on CD and I can tell you the sound is amazing.
