The genius of our ruling class is that it has kept a majority of the people from ever questioning the inequity of a system where most people drudge along, paying heavy taxes for which they get nothing in return.

Except we do get something in return. I guess the only way to get folks to see what that is is to cut it off. Just ask all of those rightwinger military folks who are bellyaching right now. Cut off Medicare, and watch the elderly stop voting Republican.............
