No pic to prove it, but earlier this morning an armored personnel carrier with military camo paint drove past my house (1st time I've seen this happen).

My first guess would be owned by local police/sheriff. They've made ex-army stuff available to cops. Or could even be a privatly-owned item. National Guard or Army unlikely just because there was just one. They usually go around in convoys, and don't run their tracked stuff on public roads. Guess I should ask--was it wheeled or tracked?

It's paranoia for sure--unless the men are actually coming and doing it. See post above about what's going down in Israel.

Four-wheeled, on rubber tires, about the size of a Jeep Wrangler, four person capacity. Significantly smaller than the ones used by big city SWAT teams to run criminals off the road.

I'm guessing it's the ATFE with FBI over-sight.

This may be my imagination, but my first thought was 'that's made in Israel'. Only place I've seen one before is on TV news; middle east.
