Santorum: Abortion = Slavery

Rick Santorum, GOP Presidential hopeful, equates abortion to slavery by challenging Obama's stance on abortion saying that he, as a black man, should recognize what it means to for a group of people to be viewed as property (slaves, fetuses).

I'm not sure I equate a fetus with Kunta Kinte, however. Why doesn't he address the issue on its own merits rather than throwing such an odd spitball?

First of all, he's an uplifter. Second, he's looking for an excuse to stick his nose where it doesn't belong in the first place.
