Repubs want to saddle students with variable rate APRs

http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/...y.html?hpid=z2

That's right. floating variable rate APRs for college loans.
Why is it that we loan money to the fat cats on Wall St. at 1% but we can't invest in the kids and by extension, the country's long term stability?

Banker's lobbyists. We need to drop a neutron bomb on these K St. lobbyists. The gravytrain to Wall St. needs derailing, too.

That and a buck will get you a cuppa coffee, Barney. At least the Senate and the Prez are against this bullshit plan.

Yeah, well, from inside the Plutocratic bubble we're all rich and half of us did nothing to earn it. To ad insult to injury we have guys like Mitt to thank for our amazing wealth, but show no love......we're just a bunch of whining shit-talkers.

This is another fine example of the Republicans reaching out to touch the future and making sure their party won't be there to see how it works out.
