I'm really poor

If this is the definition of middle income, somebody better point me to a soup kitchen.
This clueless idiot just can't keep his foot out of his mouth.

"Sheryl Harris, a voluble 52-year-old with a Virginia drawl, voted twice for George W. Bush. Raised Baptist, she is convinced — despite all evidence to the contrary — that President Barack Obama, a practicing Christian, is Muslim.

"So in this year's presidential election, will she support Mitt Romney? Not a chance. 'Romney's going to help the upper class,' said Harris, who earns $28,000 a year as activities director of a Lynchburg senior center. 'He doesn't know everyday people, except maybe the person who cleans his house.'

"She'll vote for Obama, she said: 'At least he wasn't brought up filthy rich.'"

Tee-hee!

Hey, all you R's, get a load of that! When you've lost the vote of a Southern Baptist from the heart of Falwell Country who thinks Obama is a Muslim, you're in very deep doo doo!

I freakin' love this!

John

We had an asshat over in Lynnhaven Shores write into the local paper one day;

"Anyone who thinks $250k a year is rich should just try raising a family of four off of it!"

You should have seen the responses the following day.

This is probably the same highbrow who argued against the light rail extension to the oceanfront saying he doesn't want "....Norfolks riff-raff polluting our family oriented beach with their less than desirable presence."

Some people are amazingly arrogant and out of touch with the real world.

Do you have any idea what the payments are on a new 5 series BMW when those kids turn 16. "I can't hardly make it on the Lire I earn" John Belushi 'The Immigrants'

I'll take the 250K/yr if someone would like to offer it up, but I will be damned if I am gonna have four more kids to see how hard it is to raise them on it.

I would be sitting pretty and felling pretty damn well off with half of $250k.
I ain't greedy.

Down with breeders!
We need a kid tax instead kid deductions. One kid per breeding pair and a progressive tax on each additional kid would go a long way towards staving off the calamities headed our way.
