Sorry to hear of your tragedy, Epi!

It's GREAT that everyone escaped, the house can be replaced, the people can't.

Yeah, I learned in my Navy firefighting courses the last thing you ever want to do is feed the fire more oxygen. But, it's easy to understand how someone caught up in the excitement of the moment could make that mistake. You did the best you could and you got the people and the pets out........that's what matters most.

I'm glad we still have you around to BS with, my friend!

Thanks again, Dave. We have a long row to hoe but we'll get there. It's been four days now and this morning I think it finally started to sink in. I guess it's because we had so much going on over the weekend with my sons graduation and acquiring the essentials to live that I really didn't have time to think about it.

We are just glad that you all escaped, even the kitties. Good to hear the insurance is looking after things. Some of the stuff of memories can't be replaced sadly.
