Well -- not teasing -- I do find it a bit reactionary. (The % of Muslims who actually buy into that radical crap is, I believe, quite low.)
I am perfectly fine with our allies, including any Muslim allies, having tactical and strategic nuclear weapons: it keeps out the riff raff.

Strange...we expect our freedoms...yet seem to insist everyone else not have theirs!

I have read that back in the 60's USSR had a few suitcase sized nuclear bombs. I also read that after the fall of Communism, that they could not find a few of them ?
I know that we have nuclear warheads for 155mm cannon, pretty small for transport.

They did, but the "suitcase" bombs were rather impractical, IIRC. As I understand it, they weighed nearly 80 lbs and leaked radiation very badly.

So it's the right been bombing all those muslim countries lately? Hasn't anyone told Pres Obama about attacks being a reaction to our overrreach?

No, we insist that they accept our help in pursuing our idea of freedom whether they like it or not. And they find there is usually something else we're after, while we're at it.

The one thing I keep in mind about Iran is that according to the media they have been on the cusp of acquiring nuclear weapons since the 1980's. 30 years, and still no nukes.
I'm not buying this nonsense about how much of a threat they are.
The biggest threat in my view is how intertwined we are with Israeli interests

What freedoms?
This is a joke of an expression that we Americans like to wrap ourselves in.

Noone everything is relative, nothing is absolute: we are closer to the absolute than a multitude of other countries.
As a New Yorker I can appreciate the fact that I can sue the government, its agencies and employees without the fear of my extinction.

add to the the facts that the only nuclear power in the region is our proxy (or, are we theirs?) and the common knowledge that we armed them with said ordnance, we very deservedly look like the duplicitous, meddlesome bullies we are. Feigning innocence and moral superiority in this situation will further enhance our reputation as the laughing stock of the world, even if we don't participate in an outrageous, illegal military action against Iran.

well and succinctly said, refreshing to read, and, no doubt, the words of a patriot.
